What Caused the Problem?

A consistency group snapshot image creation operation was pending, and upon trying to start the creation process, the operation failed. The Recovery Guru Details area provides specific information you will need as you follow the recovery steps.

If...

Then...

You want to create a new consistency group snapshot image

Perform the following steps:

a

On the

Storage and Copy Services

tab in the Array Management Window, highlight the affected consistency group.

b

Select the

Copy Services > Consistency Group > Create Consistency Group Snapshot Image

menu option.

c

Follow the instructions to create a new consistency group snapshot image.

d

Go to step 2.

You want to cancel the failed consistency group snapshot image creation

Perform the following steps:

a

On the

Storage and Copy Services

tab in the Array Management Window, highlight the affected consistency group.

b

Select the

Copy Services > Consistency Group > Advanced > Cancel Pending Consistency Group Snapshot Image

menu option.

c

Follow the instructions in the dialog, and then click the

Yes

button.

d

Go to step 2.

Click the

Recheck

button to rerun the Recovery Guru. The failure should no longer appear in the Summary area. If the failure appears again, contact your Technical Support Representative.
