Summary

The Distribution Manager failed to remove a package due to a file share change.

Causes

This condition could occur because the share type or the share name might have been changed since the package was created.

Resolutions

Verify that the share defined for this package is accessible to the Distribution Manager that is running on the site server and that the name of the share has not been changed.

If users are currently accessing the share, disconnect them before making any changes to the share.

If the package distribution point is located on a computer that is running Windows, you can force users to disconnect by clicking the Disconnect users from distribution points box on the Data Access tab of the Package Properties dialog box.
