Summary

The Distribution Manager cannot update the package data in the Configuration Manager site database.

Causes

This condition could occur because there is insufficient free disk space on the site server to update the package.

Resolutions

Review the immediately preceding status messages from this component about SQL Server errors.
Verify that this computer can reach the computer running SQL Server.
Verify that SQL Server services are running.
Verify that Configuration Manager can access the Configuration Manager site database.
Verify that the Configuration Manager site database, transaction log, and tempdb are not full.
If the problem persists, check the SQL Server error logs.
