Summary

The Configuration Manager Site Component Manager failed to install the Software Update Point because it cannot find or configure WSUS. Configuration Manager status message 4968 is detected.

Causes

This condition could occur because the Site Component Manager failed to install the SMS_WSUS _CONTROL_MANAGER because it could not find or configure the WSUS service.
