Summary

The sender cannot connect to remote site "%1" over the LAN. Configuration Manager status message 3500 was detected.

Causes

This condition could occur because:

Remote site server "%2" might not be connected to the LAN.
Share "%3" might not be accessible.
The network load might be too high.

Resolutions

Verify that site server "%2" is connected to the LAN and functioning properly.
Verify that share "%3" is visible and that the site server machine account has the necessary permissions to access the share.
Verify that the network is not saturated. Verify that you can move large amounts of data across the network.

Additional

This alert is best handled by Configuration Manager administrators.

To investigate status messages:

1. In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to System Center Configuration Manager > Site Database > System Status > Status Message Queries.

2. Right-click All Status Messages from a Specific System, and then select Show Messages.

3. In the All Status Messages from a Specific System dialog box, you can either specify the Machine Name and Time, or you can load existing machine names from the database, and then click OK. The status messages for the appropriate selected parameters are displayed.
