The SMS System Health Validator service has stopped. SMS requires this service to validate NAP health requests. This condition may not repair itself and must be resolved before SMS service quarantined clients.
This will typically occur when:
The Network Policy Server computer is shut down or is restarting.
SMS is being upgraded with SMS hotfixes or SMS service packs. SMS automatically stops and restarts all necessary services during the upgrade.
The SMS System Health Validator service is manually shut down.
Verify that the SMS System Health Validator service was stopped due to routine or scheduled maintenance. If so, no action is required. If not, the SHV needs to be investigated.
Confirm that the IAS computer is online. If the SMS System Health Validator service is not already started, start it.
This alert is best handled by Configuration Manager administrators.
