Summary

Associations are paths that are opened to other systems. Each association is contained within a connection and is used to transfer messages to a system. You may have multiple associations in each connection.

Resolutions

Use System Monitor to determine if a particular item is taking up too much memory. To allocate more memory, close any applications that are not essential. You may also increase your system's physical or virtual memory. Verify that there is enough disk space for the paging file to grow.

If the problem persists, contact Microsoft Product Support Services.
