Monitors the health of the Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager service
The Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager Service is not running. This service coordinates all operations of Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager, aggregates data from multiple Veeam backup servers and provides control over these servers.
If the Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager Service is stopped, Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager portal and vSphere Web Client plug-in for Veeam Backup & Replication will not work.
The service may have failed to start (for example, after a reboot) due to issues with the service account such as password expiry or account locked.
The service may have been manually stopped.
The service may be in process of upgrade or uninstall.
Check the service status: it should be running. If the service is not running, try to start it.
Check event logs for errors.
Check the status of the service account used for the Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager Service: it may be locked or expired.
