Backup Dataset Processing Errors monitor
This monitor tracks issues occurred when submitting data collected by MP for Veeam Backup & Replication in the raw format into the Operations Manager Data Warehouse. Such issues may result in Veeam MP reports and/or widgets being unable to provide correct information.
By default, the recovery action will try to optimize dataset processing batch size to improve performance.
Check the exact error message received by the Ops Mgr when trying to submit Veeam MP data:
Login errors and/or exceptions could mean that Veeam MP dataset rules are trying to use the default action account to submit data into the Ops Mgr DW DB.
Timeouts and other SQL-related errors could indicate potential SQL performance issues.
In case of SQL-related errors or timeouts, wait for the recovery action to optimize dataset processing batch size. If performance is improved, the monitor will be auto-closed. If the timeout issue continues to occur, make sure that the SQL server has enough resources to process all incoming Ops Mgr data. These errors are most likely to self-resolve once the Ops Mgr retries the operation. If you still get the SQL-related errors, you may need to manually clean up staging tables on the SQL server.
In case of login errors and/or exceptions, make sure that the Data Warehouse Run As profile is configured, and the account specified for this profile is allowed to be distributed on Veeam Collectors and Veeam Backup & Replication servers.
