Summary

This monitor is tracking the vCenter Alarm 'vShield endpoint host status'.

Causes

This alarm will fire in vCenter, using triggers defined via the vSphere Client.

By default, this alarm is triggered by the following events:

vCenter Event

Description

com.vmware.vShieldManager.EPSec.host_mux_connected

vShield Endpoint was connected to the host.

com.vmware.vShieldManager.EPSec.host_uninstalled

vShield Endpoint was uninstalled from the host.

com.vmware.vShieldManager.EPSec.host_mux_missing_report

vShield Endpoint has been installed on the host, but is no longer reporting status.
