Summary

This monitor tracks the vCenter Alarm 'The host license edition is not compatible with the vCenter Server license edition'.

Causes

This alarm will fire in vCenter, using triggers defined via the vSphere Client.

By default, this alarm is triggered by the following event:

vCenter Event

Description

com.vmware.license.HostLicenseEditionNotAllowedEvent

Host license edition is not allowed.

Resolutions

Check that the host has a compatible license installed.
