Summary

This monitor tracks the vCenter alarm that triggers if a pre-4.1 host is connected to a SIOC-enabled datastore.

Causes

This alarm will fire in vCenter, using triggers defined via the vSphere Client.

By default, this alarm is triggered by the following event:

vCenter Event	Description
com.vmware.vc.sioc.NotSupportedHostConnectedToDatastoreEvent	SIOC has detected that a host: {host} connected to a SIOC-enabled datastore: {objectName} is running an older version of ESX that does not support SIOC.
