The rule triggers an alert when MSDTC on the server is unavailable.
This error typically indicates that the MSDTC service is not running on the local server. Data modification (DML) statements in an explicit or implicit transaction may require that MSDTC service is running and provider supports distributed transactions.
Use SQL Server Service Manager to verify that the MSDTC service has been started on the server. For more information, see the Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator documentation.
